Dr. Mohammad Shameem Al Mamun is working as a Principal Scientist at Bangladesh Tea Research Institute. He completed his graduation and post-graduation from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He awarded his PhD degree from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet. Now he is a Postdoc fellow at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. He has more than 100 publications, including four international books/book chapters. Dr. Mamun attended many national & international seminars, symposiums, and conferences at home and abroad. He also associated with different national and international professional organizations and societies such as Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh; Bangladesh Entomological Society; Weed Science Society of Bangladesh; Bangladesh Botanical Society; Zoological Society of Bangladesh; Entomological Society of America; Tea Professional Welfare Society, Bangladesh; The Acarological Society of Iran; Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science; Asian Council of Science Editors. He has a lot of remarkable innovations for the development of the smart tea industry in Bangladesh.
